Internal Medcine Didactics

Didactics for the Internal Medicine Residency Program:

Each month a topic is chosen and the lectures, journal club, and board reviews are developed around this topic, ie: cardiology, pulmonology, gastroenterology, critical care, etc.

Each morning, there is a Morning Report, which consists of attending physicians lectures, resident presentation, and student case presentations. Journal club is held once a month during this dedicated time. There are monthly skills labs, developed on a yearly schedule. Harrison's Club Chapters are reviewed on a weekly basis with direction from our IM faculty. Twice per month on Monday the Infectious Disease physicians lead the ID case conferences.

IM residents take part in the OUCOM/CORE RPAC Education days, which are scheduled four (4) times per year.  These range from skills labs to lectures to OSCEs.
