Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) Risk Assessment

 

Please review the questions below:
 
  • Do you have a family history of diabetes or cardiovascular problems?
  • Do you currently have diabetes or cardiovascular problems?
  • Do you experience impotence?
  • Do you smoke?
  • Are you more than 25 pounds overweight?
  • Do you eat fried or fatty foods three times a week or more?
  • Are you over the age of 50?
  • Do you have aching, cramping or pain in the legs while you walk or exercise?
  • Do you have tingling, numbness or coldness in your hands or feet?
  • Do you have loss of hair on your feet or toes?
  • Do you have irregular growth of fingernails or toenails? 
If you answered YES to 3 or more of these questions, you are considered to be at risk for Peripheral Vascular Disease and should talk to your doctor. If you do not have a doctor, call Medline, our free physician referral service at 866.733.6363.
