The primary goal of the Center for Women is to enhance the health status of women in the communities we serve. We offer health screenings, community education programs and comprehensive health care for women and children. Each woman who visits the Center for Women receives personal, individual attention. They are cared for by a diverse staff of board-certified obstetricians, gynecologists, pediatricians, and certified nurse midwives who are supported by highly trained medical professionals. These experts offer the following medical services:

 

Pregnancy
• Midwifery services
• Prenatal and postpartum care
• Childbirth classes
• Registration for Healthy Start and WIC
• Social Service counseling
• Laboratory, ultrasound and fetal monitoring
• Patients are referred for childbirth classes
• Patients are registered for Healthy Start and WIC
  
  Women's Health
• Well women care for all ages including pap tests and menopausal issues
• Medical health and nutrition counseling
• Laboratory, radiology and ultrasound testing

 

          Family Planning

• Social Service counseling
• Contraception Services
• Medicaid, insurance and self-pay accepted

South Pointe Hospital does not offer inpatient pediatric services or maternity services.
