At the South Pointe Hospital Cancer Care Center, we care for the special needs of cancer patients with comprehensive and compassionate inpatient and outpatient treatment, close to home. As the Cleveland Clinic Health System's newest facility exclusively devoted to outpatient care, the center provides advanced cancer treatment in a setting designed specifically for cancer patients and their families. We offer our patients a private drive-up entrance, convenient parking, centrally located nursing station surrounded by comfortable exam rooms, a registry area and research area.
The center is staffed by board-certified oncologists, specially trained nurses, a pharmacist, social worker, and dietician. The cancer program has a four-year accreditation by the Commission on Cancer for the American College of Surgeons, an honor granted to only 20 percent of the hospitals in the United States.
We actively participate in many national cancer research studies, allowing patients access to the latest treatments and technology. One of the studies that South Pointe Hospital participates in is the Breast Cancer Risk Assessment and Clinical Trial.
