Visiting Hours
South Pointe Hospital embraces a philosophy of open and flexible patient visitation that encourages and welcomes the involvement of family members and significant others. To provide each patient with a quiet restful environment, please follow these guidelines:
  • Please ask your guests to be sensitive to the needs of all hospitalized patients
  • An adult other than the patient must stay with children under the age of 14 at all times.
  • A child may never be alone in a patient’s room ICU visiting hours are for immediate family members and friends. Due to the critical nature of our patients’ conditions and the specialized care they need, visiting hours may be limited at times and will be assessed on a patient-to-patient basis. This allows our staff to carry out their duties more effectively and ensures patients receive the rest they need.
  • Those who visit between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m. will need to present a photo ID and receive a visitor’s badge. These will be available in the Emergency Department.
