A Letter From the Hospital President
Being a volunteer is a wonderful opportunity that carries great responsibility. Volunteers at South Pointe Hospital complement and supplement the work of our healthcare professionals. They work side by side with employees and staff to provide excellent health care to our community. Your service is both needed and appreciated. As a volunteer, you are highly regarded as a valuable part of the hospital’s team.
Although most of our volunteers donate their time because they want to give of themselves, we do our best to let them know how much they are appreciated. To recognize our volunteer’s dedication and commitment, we offer a variety of benefits. These include complimentary meals on days of service, free flu shots, free parking and an annual recognition program held to honor our Volunteers for their caring contributions to the hospital.
Volunteering gives you the opportunity to utilize your skills, as well as the chance to develop new ones.
We invite you to join our volunteer staff. We believe you will find it to be a uniquely rewarding experience.

President of South Pointe Hospital

Volunteering is a True Talent
Volunteering is a true talent. Not everyone has the desire or ability to give of themselves, and that’s what makes you feel special. We applaud your efforts to be of service to others and hope that you can find a home at South Pointe Hospital. By reaching out to others through Volunteering, you’ll also help yourself.
Volunteers are valued members of the South Pointe team. This generous commitment of time and effort is greatly appreciated by patients, visitors and Hospital staff – it adds a unique, personal dimension to the provision of patient care. In addition, it is an essential part of the day-to-day delivery of health care services. Without volunteers we could not to what we do so well.
